The 2nd annual Rollo Bay Music Camp is a three-day event built to accompany one of Prince Edward Island’s most enduring traditions – the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival. World class instructors will teach a variety of traditional styles of fiddle, guitar, tenor banjo, piano, flute, whistle, dance, accordian, bodhran and songwriting. On the final night of the camp, students will have the option of enjoying a concert and employ their dance skills by mixing with the local community at the Thursday Night Ceilidh, which has been running at the Fiddle Grounds for 14 years.
Hosted at the Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival grounds, the Rollo Bay Music Camp’s relaxed and friendly atmosphere allows students to choose a level of immersion in instruction alongside the opportunity to jam with their instructors on break or at the end of the day, and of course to enjoy the beautiful landscape of Eastern Prince Edward Island.
This years instructors includes: J.J. Chaisson, Andre Brunet, Tim Chaisson, Jake Charron, Koady Chaisson, Pascal Miousse, Pastelle Leblanc, Emmanuelle Leblanc, Chris Kirby, Mairi Rankin, Ward MacDonald, Sean Gray, Nathalie Arsenault and Darren Chaisson.
